In 2009, Fisher Coachworks continues a 101-year history of product innovation with the launch of the Advanced Technology Electric Bus. Leveraging a successful $3.5 million dollar prototype project funded primarily by the Department of Energy, our launch vehicle is an innovative hybrid mass-transit bus with up to a 3-fold improvement in fuel economy over existing diesel buses. Fisher Coachworks is committed to providing customers and partners with world-class transportation solutions that share a unique focus on engineering innovation, fuel economy, safety, and durability.
